If it was one thing that broke my childhood videogame addiction, it's Swat Kats. It's just two cats, heart of gold, in an awesome two-seater jet, fighting evil in the Megakat City with an awesome soundtrack, all the while trying to win the heart of Miss Briggs. What could be a better cartoon show than this?

I was looking at the old Cartoon Network logo today and I got hit with all those nostalgia.

T-Bone and Razor taught me three important things in life. That VTOL jets are awesome! Friends don't give up on each other! And… 'Bingo!’

Swat Kats played a huge role in me, inspiring me to choose aeronautics to be honest. I mean, yeah, I did love planes, but that was seeded when I was a kid. Not from video games or toys, but this show. This beautiful gem of a show got me to love machines a lot!

Look how sleek the Turbokat is.

And wait, there's more to love in this machine than VTOL. How about a slick weapons bay that can also house a cool bike?

I present you, the Cyclotron.

Man! It was one awesome ride for only a few handful of episodes. I really miss those good old days, when cartoons had a standard.

Lately I've been hearing about a reboot of the franchise with the original creators helming the project. I hope they cook better.

I want my Turbokat back!
